Overview

Kaohsiung, the biggest and modern city in southern Taiwan. In the morning meeting with your English-speaking guide/driver and start your full day visit Kaohsiung and the surroundings, and everything is very flexible. It can be customized for private, depends on what type of spots you preferred, or how many person in your group. Please note that in case of closing, the guide will suggest an alternative spot to visit. Other language guide(SP/FR/IT/GE), can be requested.

The British Consulate At Takao

Built in 1867, it is the most antique western-style modern architecture as well as the first British Consulate in Taiwan. Shoushan, the "love" Deck from where you will enjoy the spectacular view of the city.

Designed in a Gothic style., was rebuilt in 1928 and is the largest cathedral in Taiwan and one of the 3 cathedrals in Asia.

Formosa Boulevard Station

Was rated second of the most beautiful subway stops in the world. The real treasure is underground -- the 2,180-square-meter Dome of Light, a glass mural built into the ceiling of the station. The colorful ceiling was created by American-Italian artist Narcissus Quagliata. It's the largest such glass installation in the world.

Excellent, customized private tour

My family of 6 adults and 2 young children were very appreciative of our guide's attentiveness and helpfulness in helping us create then visit an itinerary that fit our interests and needs. Mr. Leo was extremely friendly and courteous. He gave us great suggestions on places to visit and we felt very safe with him. We were able to see several gorgeous sites based on his proposals that we hadn't considered. We are very thankful to Mr. Leo for welcoming us and for taking such great care of our family.

Introduction to Stinky Tofu

We arrived by coach tour in the early evening and went right to the night market. I ate a few prawns a one stall. After walking and browsing another 50 feet or so, I got a whiff of Stinky Tofu. That killed my appetite. They tour company took us to a tall luxury hotel. We checked in on about the 10 floor and went to our room on about the 50th floor. It would have been a nice place if we were not expected on the bus at 0900 in the morning.
