Surfing beginners lesson

Brilliant surfing lesson in a beautiful bay, we got taught the basics and then spent the remainder of the time in the water practicing! Would highly recommend! You will sleep well after!

Awesome start off the day!

My friend and I had a great lesson with SurfEnds this morning. We got picked up from our hostel in Wilderness and really enjoyed catching some waves. Dylan was a lovely friendly teacher, he really helped us improving our skills and encouraged us in a positive way! Victoria bay is a beautiful spot and really nice for beginner and intermediate surfers. It wasn’t crowded, the waves were good which made the surfing perfect!

I‘m was a solo traveler through the garden route so I decided to had a day lesson with Martyn... and I’m really glad that I did it. First, the beach at Victoria Bay is much more beautiful to me that the ones I found in Jeffrey’s Bay. Second, after many conversations with locals, it seems much safer than other surfing spots around. Third, as a solo traveller I was more than willing to enjoy the activity with others. Martyn not only took care of the transportation from my hostel in Wilderness to Victoria Bay, he also joined me with his children group lesson. The result: not only I enjoyed the class, Martyn was professional, always helpful and full of energy, also I was surrounded by children (same of them pretty good surfers) with a lot of energy and willing to have lots of fun! Martyn was not the only instructor, there were also 2 more, that usually are taking the classes together. All of them were really welcoming and I really felt in family. I still grateful for that guys. At the end of the lesson we ended up all together having a hot chocolate :) Honestly... it was one of the best experiences I had while travelling South Africa. Definitely recommended! Thanks Martyn and colleges!!

Intermediate surf lessons with friends

Went to the garden route and came across this surfschool. Young owner who is managing the business proffesionally and has a lot of passion for his sport. My friend and I could both surf a little bit, but are used to surf in europe (we are from NL). It was great to have a surf guide in the water with us teaching us the local conditions and giving us tips to improve our overall skills. Overall great vibes, cant wait to come back with some more friends:)
