This was certainly the highlight of our Vietnam Journey. Although it was not very warm yet, it’s still very nice. The staff on board is fantastic. Our table was served by two girls named flower and Luna, which made you feel royal. The barkeeper Tony making lovely cocktails with a Passion. The excursions are well organized and accompanied by the assistant manager which was even better than his boss as he was easier to understand. The places they bring you to can be a little bit crowded and feel touristy, although they tried their best.Without a doubt, there are a lot of cruise boots hanging around the same area at the same time. .The rooms on board have a fantastic view and very comfortable beds. I did extensive research when planning which Ha Long Bay cruise to do, I heard that if you book online with budget cruises you will be assigned a random boat and your experience will not be good. As a result, I decided to splurge on this cruise and book directly to make sure we would get a great experience and they definitely delivered! I booked online through their website & was contacted promptly about the booking. When it came time for the cruise, the driver picked us up from our Hanoi hotel, and we boarded the boat. The entire experience was so welcoming, each staff member pm the cruise really attended to our needs. The rooms were spacious and clean and we were blown away by the view from the patio. I had read the reviews and was worried that the food would be too westernized, but there were lots of Vietnamese dishes and portions were generous as well. This boat also takes the path of Lan Ha Bay rather than Ha Long Bay so it is much less crowded as we only saw a handful of other luxury cruise boats on our same path. The activities were nice as well, but to be honest, my favorite part was just relaxing in our room staring at the view. There are a lot of activities if you choose to partake though. There is some engine noise if your room is near the front of the boat, however the engine is completely turned off at night and it is silent. Overall, we had an amazing time. It was a true luxury experience and it can't recommend it enough!

This is our first Genesis cruise - a wonderful experience with very good food and well planned activities. It was great to kayak only in the morning when there was high tide and extremely peaceful. Overall service was great on board and my family of four with teenagers enjoyed ourselves for the 2D1N stay.

A premium experience from start to finish. I was left feeling like they really wanted me to have the best experience for everything from check in to the fine dining experience to all the extra curricular activities. Our tour guide Sunny was amazing - patient and friendly. The rooms are spectacular with large windows with views. Yes the drinks on board are more expensive than those on shore but it is expected given the premium setting and experience. Plenty of free water was served so that's not an issue. Our large luggage also made it onboard which was a nice surprise. The ship anchors in Lan Ha Bay instead of Halong Bay as this is more beautiful. Definitely recommended and hope to do it again in future over 3 days if possible.

From the moment we were picked up at our hotel in a luxurious van and dropped off to the waiting lounge. We knew we would have a great trip. Upon getting on the ship we were treated to a sit down lunch & our waiter James was great! James took care of all our food, drink choices throughout our stay. The food was amazing. Our room was breathtaking. The excursion that was included for the cruise was well organized, timely and fun. A must for first time cruiser and visitor of Ha Long Bay.
