Orange bay was an interesting experience. I wouldn't believe any of the negative reviews. No food and drinks are allowed from outside... But you can take water in your backpacks. My other tip would be go later than normal. Avoid the 8am morning start and go privately rather than group tour, if you can. The perks include getting taken onto the quieter side of the island. Less queuing for photos, less noise and less people generally. We cannot compliment our guide enough. Yassa was incredible! As we cannot speak Arabic having a good English speaking guide was very helpful. He looked after us during the trip and even took photos for us. What made our trip even more memorable was my wife leaving her phone in the cab on our way back home. We contacted Yassa and he sorted it out for us straight away! Yassa you're truly a gem.

It was great the journey on the private boat with the guide Asmaa Rashed. We really had a good time with the chidren.Looking forward to come back Thx a lot

We didn’t want to take a boot full of people to Orange Bay at Giftun Island. That’s why we wanted to go by private speedboat. This trip was really perfect with Snoopy the captain and Sam. They were very nice, especially Sam! First they asked us if we wanted to make a banana ride behind the speedboat, then we went snorkeling near the island. After snorkeling we went to Orange Bay. It is beautiful there! The water has the most beautiful colors we’ve ever seen!! Sam showed us around. He was very helpful and we had a lot of time to swim, relax and to take pictures. After 2 hours on the island we went back to Hurghada. Snoopy let us steer the boat. He is a funny guy. The car who picked us up at our hotel was already there and we were taken back to the hotel. If you want a private tour for a good price and you don’t want to stay out the whole day, you should book this one!!
