I initially booked the 7.5k ft tandem skydive for 139eur on a thursday (only available thursdays). i had previously completed the 15k ft tandem skydive with the same company and didnt need the highest, fanciest skydive experience this time around- just a lil thrill. unfortunately, my flight had to be canceled due to weather conditions. The staff called me immediately to inform me and to figure out an alternative plan. they stayed in touch on whatsapp and offered to get me in early the next day. they were also without question willing to offer the 139eur jump on a friday which is typically only available thursdays. i arrived a few minutes late the following day (phone/transportation difficulties) and the staff was super understanding. when i arrived they convinced me to upgrade to at least the 10k ft tandem skydive based on the wishes i had communicated for the jump. my tandem pilot was mani from porto who chatted with me and calmed my nerves (ive jumped before, but i am beyond terrified of heights). he made me feel very safe during the checks and guided me through the experience like an absolute pro. he even showed me how to steer the canopy and to recognize height and wind direction. super cool! in the end, i was very glad that i upgraded to the 10k ft jump, it provided just the experience i wanted. i am also so happy that my planned jump got postponed, as the semi cloudy morning sky was absolutely stunning and golden and i got to see my first real glorie rainbow :-) hope to jump with them again :-)

All in this experience was excellent, I was looked after from the minute I arrived to the minute I left the building . what top bunch of people , working in intense heat they still managed to accommodate everyone, and fulfilled there requirements, this is my 3rd tandem jump with skydive algarve, personally I wouldn't look anywhere else , everyone involved is very professional and you always feel you are in safe hands , thanks to everyone involved and keep up the great work ,,ronnie brown
