Best bang for your buck in Aruba. The crew was amazing and so much fun. They were very knowledgable and reassuring. Kevin was a great host! So funny and it was very reassuring when I watched him free dive 60 feet down to the Antilla shipwreck. Gave us lots of confidence that we were in good hands. Josh and Rich were great too! All three were a great compliment to the Red Sail company. Bring cash for a tip because we didn’t and really wished we did because the guys deserved it! One of the cheapest excursions on Carnival Cruise Lines and we felt we got so much for our money. The catamaran cruise was amazing. We snorkeled twice. Once near a beach and saw incredibly colorful tropical fish and some coral reef. The water there was peaceful. The excursion provided snorkel equipment and flotation vests. We used our own full face snorkel masks which I highly recommend. They can be purchased in any sporting goods store and are only about $25 each. Then we went to the Antilla ship wreck. A huge WWII era German freight ship that was scuttled by the Germans before being taken. You can clearly see the wreck and the damage caused when the ship exploded. The seas and current were a little rough at this site but for the non confident swimmers, they have ropes on the front of the boat that you can hang on to and enjoy the view of the wreck. Some on board even saw a big sea turtle swimming over the wreck. Free unlimited alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks are provided with tons of options. I highly recommend this excursion!
