It was amazing! The guys are very nice, they give advice, but only when you ask. They told us in great detail what techniques there are, and then gave us a lot (A LOT!!!!!) of material so everyone could create what they wanted. I really enjoed it! Thank you!

There are certain places and certain experiences that you have in life that you just know that every time you think back on them, they’re going to bring a smile to your face…and that is part of the magic that Taller Gingell has. From even before the moment we stepped through the workshop doors Eric and Wendy were and are exceptional (and I really do mean EXCEPTIONAL) hosts. Their passion and love for this art oozes out of their every pore and even of the workshop space itself. The planter workshop that we had the joy of taking part in was so well crafted, so well presented by Wendy(and Eric!) and delivered with such joy, commitment and love that every single person in our group left with a smile on our face and only wanting more! Both Wendy and Eric are a delight to be around, they are so knowledgeable and they show such genuine care and consideration for each of their guest’ “artistic output”. Extra special props to Eric for telling dad-jokes in fluent Spanish throughout the workshop! But whereas Wendy will tell you herself that she can have very high standards for all the ceramics that are produced in the taller ( ;) ) every piece was critiqued with such great care, such great respect that we were talking about our “ceramic babies” that we only ever felt love and a real and genuine passion for sharing a craft that Wendy (and Eric) clearly love so deeply. Originally, I came to the workshop as part of a 20 person corporate group making cups, we were chaos incarnate but I can assure you that that same care, consideration,love and passion was as present then as it is is now. That session was in fluent English, this session in fluent Spanish (including dad jokes). In short, Wendy and Eric are an absolute delight to work with, their passion for what they do is infectious and I guarantee that the memories forged (or maybe…glazed…) in Taller Gingell will always bring a smile to your face. I couldn’t recommend it any higher than that!

A fantastic experience making a plant pot from scratch. Wendy and Eric were very informative and helpful, explaining different the different techniques. I particularly liked how we were given complete creative freedom to create our pots, but Wendy was always on hand to help. Thank you for a great evening at Taller Gingell.

This is probably my favorite experience in Barcelona. They walked us through 3 different ways to make a flower pot, then let us pick which style we were comfortable with. While making the pot, they would come over and give us helpful tips to remove cracks, make the walls thicker, or just improve our pots so they don’t crack later. They were really nice and we had a lot of fun!
