Overview

Experience hands-on cooking of Austrians most popular dishes such as Apple Strudel, Salzburger Nockerl and Speck Dumpling. In the lessons you will be given the opportunity to cook on your own while being carefully guided by an experienced chef. The classes are in small groups in an extremely fun and relaxed environment.

Itinerary

Participants of this program will learn how to prepare an original Austrian Apple Strudel. During the class you will be guided by an experienced chef. Small Groups of 3 to 5 people will be asked to fully partake in all the stages of preparation. Activities such as stretching out the pastry can be a lot of fun and the whole experience of making the strudel is guaranteed to be as rewarding as enjoying the final outcome itself. Additional to the Apple Strudel, participants have the chance to try their hands on to one of the most famous and spectacular Dessert in Salzburg - the Salzburger Nockerl or depends on the program shape your own flufy salzburg prezel. The program also includes a traditional goulash soup for lunch which will be served before you get your own baked creations (vegetarian/vegan lunch option also available).

A delicious and fun experience

The instructors were warm and helpful. We got to chat with other guests and by the end of the experience, we were all laughing and chatting together over goulash and our desserts.

This was a great activity for a rainy or cloudy day. I loved that the activity also came with lunch, so it was one fewer meal to think about. The teachers were kind, patient, and informative. I highly recommend this class.

A fun class with delicious food in a gorgeous setting. We had a great time putting our strudel together. The goulash provided while we waited for our strudel to cook was perfect and our instructors were patient and energetic. Don’t eat lunch before you come!

What a wonderful addition to our Salzburg excursion!! We trained from Kitzbuhel, toured around town, then spent 2 hours at this charming place! They offered wine and beer and served a delicious soup while our strudel and nockerl were cooking. Highly recommend!
