Overview

The ultimate experience at Cape Mentelle where you will first walk through the wine making process discussing what makes our wines so special in the vineyard and in the cellar.  Immerse yourself in the spirit of sensory adventure whilst matching a special selection of our wines to a variety of local produce in the original Cabernet Cellar. Discover how and why certain food pairings work so well with others perhaps more contrasting.  Total duration is 120 minutes - adults only Please, let us know if you have any food allergies.

Fascinating tour of a technologically, modern winery with superb wine and food pairing.

This was a fascinating tour, going behind the scenes of a technological, modern winery. The culmination of the tour was the wine tasting with food pairing which was superb. Totally recommend this experience.

My wife & I visited Cape Mentelle Winery in the Margaret River region and took the food & wine matching tour. Our Tour Guide was Ed, a really friendly, likable bloke who explained the whole wine-making process (from vine to table) very ably & clearly. We have both been on similar Tours elsewhere over the years but learned new information from Ed. Ed welcomed our questions and is a great asset to Cape Mentelle.

We really enjoyed our morning tour of the vineyard and winery with Leanne. We particularly enjoyed her wine and food pairing, both were doubly delicious together.

Dan gave us an excellent tour, which started in the vineyard and took us through the wine making process finishing with a private wine tasting with food pairings in the cellar room. Dan was very personable and informative. His manner was friendly but also very professional. The food and wine pairings were spot on and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

Great wine experience. Kate was an amazing host who took us through the wine growing and production experience.
