Overview

This E-bike tour is put forward by Tenuta Santa Maria Valverde, a Winery Boutique in Marano di Valpolicella. We are not intermediaries or tour operator: we directly arrange the tour and wine tasting. The winemaker Nicola, born and raised in the Valpolicella, will make you see magnificent treasures in Valpolicella. He knows a lot of things about the land and he'll tell you many secret tales on the Valpolicella. He knows how to beat the traffic car taking shortcuts through the vineyard! Afterward, visit the family Winery in Marano di Valpolicella and have a special wine tasting of a selection of our fine red wines Valpolicella, Ripasso and the great Amarone, learning the evaluation by sight, smell and taste. The wines are paired with local food as cheeses, salami and a light lunch from the traditional Veronaesis cuisine. Breathtaking Views & Delicious Wines

We’ve been traveling through northern Italy for the last two weeks. We’ve had several fantastic experiences during this time. However, I would put our e-bike tour through the Valpolicella wine region at the top of our list. Ilaria was our tour guide and not only did she point out the breathtaking vistas that we saw during our ride, she also took the time to explain the interesting history that surrounds this area as well. We all enjoyed the bike tour immensely. But that wasn’t all—when we got back to the winery—Beatrice (the winemaker), took us through several of her beautifully made wines and paired them with exquisitely prepared Italian dishes. Simply put, it was an experience of a lifetime; one we all won’t forget. If you get the chance to do this e-bike tour—do it! You won’t regret it.

A storybook perfect day!

This tour was a dream experience! The small family-owned boutique winery is out of a story-book. We rode e-bikes (which we hadn’t done before - so fun!) while the winemaker himself shared stories of the vines and villages. It was peaceful and the perfect pace. We then shared a delicious lunch of homemade pasta with truffles while tasting their superb Valpolicella wines. The views were incredible and the whole day was perfect. I highly recommend this experience!

This tour was amazing. Nicola was very enthusiastic and an outstanding host. We loved learning about his family’s rooted history in wine making and culture. The views of the valley during the tour were unbelievable and I recommend this to anyone wanting a full Italian wine country experience.
