You will be guided on a fun 10 km ride while sampling locally roasted coffee, artisan juices, delicious tacos, and other yummy delicacies - all while enjoying the magical vistas that surround Bucerias. Itinerary

  • Bici Bucerias

    Arrive at least 15 minutes before your tour starts. We are located on the South end of the town by the Royal Decameron Hotel. Here you will meet your VeloGuide Susy and be fitted on our comfy Specialized Rolls. These are cruiser bikes that are well maintained and have 7 gears. After a pre ride check and chat, maybe a group photo, we will roll! Get ready to discover the food and sites of Bucerias

  • Bucerias

    Soak up Bucerias sights and food on an easygoing 6-mile (10-km) ride. Our informative guide takes you to local spots to sample locally roasted coffee, artisanal juice, and mouthwatering tacos. In between food stops, cycle into different parts of Bucerias and the countryside, and admire views of the Sierra Madre mountains. Top off this morning tour with a refreshing cerveza! This small-group tour is limited to ten people, ensuring personalized attention. The first stop will be at a local café for a nice espresso, latte or iced coffee along with a tasty pastry. From there, we take you to a local artisan juice maker for some of the most refreshing agua fresca in our bay area. Now that you are fully caffeinated and hydrated, we will venture off and roll through the Mexican countryside while enjoying the vistas of the beautiful Sierra Madre mountains. On the return we will stop for yummy carnitas tacos and then our final stop you will taste amazing fish tacos and fresh made ceviche ....and a super cold beer! * note that we sometimes have to change the itinerary, stops and food items based on the day of the week. Amazing every time. A must do when in the area!

This was our third time taking this tour with PePe. The first time we didn't have electric bikes which was great, but the electric bikes really elevate the experience. Each time we have explored different restaurants with an exception of the birerra place which would be a shame not to visit. Pepe does an excellent job of exposing us to a variety of dishes. An exceptional choice on the one we just took was something that looked similar to an empanada (but thinner) and stuffed with corn fungus (mushrooms). It was delicious and so unique. Apparently its a speciality in Mexico City where the cook was from. I will ALWAYS include this tour when I am in the area. Its fun, informative, and delicious.

Pepe was our guide and was great! He visited with us as we peddled to the first stop on the tour to learn a little about the group. He then tailored the food to allow us to try new dishes. The servings were generous and Pepe provided good insight into the culture and history of the area. Highly recommend!

This was a very fun tour. Pepe is a super guide. He did a great job of educating us about the four different cuisines that were sampled on the tour. The biking is easy and the ebikes are easy to get used to even if you haven't ridden one before.

Our guide Pepe was amazing. He showed us so many things that we never would have seen had we not gone on this tour. The bikes are very well maintained and very easy to ride. All of the food and drinks were so good and learning some of the history behind the dishes we tried was very cool as well. I highly recommend doing the food tour. We have a few days left here and we just might do it again.
