Itinerary

  • Puerto Limon

    One of the Highlights, a boat ride in one of the biggest canals in Costa Rica, great place for wildlife, here you will have chance to see, Howler monkeys, sloths, caimans, crocodiles, birds and more!

  • Puerto Limon

    The second stop its on a fruit stand, you can taste tropical fruits like the best pineapple in Costa Rica! The tour guide will show you some plants, like the pineapple, Liberica Coffee bush, sugar cane also some trees like Cacao tree, mango and noni tree. This will be also the Souvenir stop.

  • Cahuita National Park

    The Jungle Trail on Cahuita national park (Vargas trail): The Jungla Trail offers 2 kilometers trek through a secondary forest offering beautiful landscapes, various flora and fauna, and including many opportunities to see the remarkably fascinating different frog species of Costa Rica, for example the red dart frog (dendrobates pumillo), howler monkey, white face monkey, the two species of sloths and more! Inside the trail, among the abundant fauna visitors may witness the 3 toed sloths and see the different species of birds: Toucans, Oropendola, Tanagers, Hummingbirds, kiskidees and much more, squirrels, and the majestic butterflies that swarm through the trail.

    Will be visit banana and chocolate plantations, your guide will provide you many interesting facts about this amazing fruit will be explained, including the crop, harvesting, processing, packing and exportation. Costa Rica is the second largest banana producer in the world

  • Puerto Limon (Pass By)

    The last part will be a City tour in Port Limon, you will see important buildings like the first Bapthis Church in limon, the old train station, the main church in the town, the Big boy Stadium the only stadium of baseball in all the province.

Six Fun Hours

Mary was the best. She did an excellent job explaining both plant and animal life. Our driver Alex was just plain “entertaining.” Highly recommend all facets of this tour.

Lots of Wildlife

We saw 13 sloths, crocodiles, a cayman, monkeys and snakes. We learned so much about Costa Rica. The tour operator (Syl Travel) was easy to find right off the boat. Look for the big red tent.

Great excursion

This trip was excellent. Marcos was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. His English was very good. We saw 10+ sloths, 2 types of monkeys, 2 viper snakes, a few crocodiles and a cayman. Our driver Alex was also good. I would recommend.

Costa Rica experience

Marco is very knowledgeable and we were able to see 2 and 3 toed sloths, snakes, and howler and white faced monkeys. His English is very good. Alex was a great driver.

Kendrick Watson was a great tour guide. Provided lots of information about living in Costa Rica. He also made sure each person saw the sloths, various monkeys, reptiles, birds, and raccoons.
