Overview

A perfect way to end the day, with a relaxing sail upon the Atlantic Ocean. Imagine taking in the breathtaking views of FT. Lauderdale beach as the sun slips slowly behind the lights of the city. This evening cruise calls for sun dresses, flowered shirts, sandals , cold beer and chilled wine. Take advantage of one of Florida’s finest highlights upon our comfortable catamaran as you Sail past cruise ships and “Millionaires Row”. Enjoy viewing the amazing mansions mansions and mega yachts of the rich and famous. Stop traffic as the 17th Street causeway bridge opens for us on the way out to the Atlantic Ocean. Sails up, sea breezes and salt air increases everyone’s taste for fun. Relaxing music and breaking waves provide a tropical rhythm. Look back at the land as the sun slips away casting fiery hues of orange and red.

All guests must check in at Tropical Sailing Office 45 minutes prior to departure. Located on the Marina side of the 4 story building, directly behind the Market Deli. Facing the Marina between Docks A and B.

Evening on the water

It was a great trip. The activities director was informative and entertaining. We motored out to the Atlantic then raised the sails. The only thing that could have been better would have been cooperation from Mother Nature. Clouds rolled in before we left the pier. We passed many million dollar mansions with interesting stories for each. The Christmas lights on the Intercoastal Waterway set the mood for the evening. Definitely, something we will do again the next time we visit the Ft. Lauderdale area.

Awesome! No other word to describe this sunset Cruise. Not only do the Captain and crews do a fantastic job about showing you the hot spots of Fort Lauderdale, but they also point out all of the residents is of the rich and famous. You couldn't ask for a better price. Would go again in a heartbeat!

The cruise was delightful. It was very windy and we got up to 9 knots in the inlet. Too windy to go out in the ocean. Champagne was a special touch! Note to future groups: the Viator app said the cruise began at 6 pm, but it really began at 5 pm. Check incoming emails carefully for correct time!

Fort Lauderdale from the Water
