Great Guide, Great Pizza

We found the Chicago Pizza Tour highly reviewed online and decided to give it a try. James, our guide, was engaging, funny, and had a ton of knowledge about Chicago. The tour is conducted on an old-school bus, which adds a fun and whimsical touch to the experience. We stopped at four different pizza places where a variety of pizzas were ordered. The tour was great about taking allergies and personal preferences into account, ensuring that everyone was catered to. You can also order drinks at each of the stops, which adds to the overall experience. Each stop lasted about 30-40 minutes, and the timing was perfect. We never felt rushed, nor did we feel like it was dragging on. The varieties of pizza were delicious, and by the end of the tour, I was stuffed. One tip: be sure to skip breakfast before you go, as you’ll definitely need room for all the great pizza!

Our tour guide, James, was smart, funny, personable, and extremely knowledgeable about history, both of pizza and Chicago. He chose great establishments to showcase the history and diversity of pizza in Chicago. A bonus was the company: It felt like a gathering of old, good friends, including James. And the pizzas were so very good. A delicious experience! We’ll do it again at some point.
