We require a minimum of 4 passengers to confirm a flight on-board one of our larger passenger balloons. There are two alternatives available, we can provisionally book you onto the date then try to confirm another 2 passengers to fly with you or we can move your flight to the next suitable date.
Children under the age of 7 years are not permitted to fly.
We consider it unsafe to fly when pregnant

In line with traditional balloon flights, our Classic Air Balloon Flight offers guests the serene beauty of floating gently over the Cradle of Humankind or the Magaliesberg, while sipping on champagne, as the pilot allows the hot air balloon at times to drift at tree top height and at other times will ascend into the skies, offering guests a panoramic view of the beautiful African landscape below.

Itinerary

In line with traditional balloon flights, our Classic Flight offers guests the serene beauty of floating gently over the Cradle of Humankind or the Magaliesberg,The pilot allows the hot air balloon at times to drift at tree top height and at other times will ascend into the skies, offering guests a panoramic view of the beautiful African landscape below. We have air balloon launch sites located in the Cradle of Humankind and the Magaliesberg that have been chosen for their close vicinity to the majority of lodges in the area. Alternatively, we will launch from any lodge that is more convenient to the client, providing that the lodge has adequate space for the launching of passenger balloons.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Guests with any medical conditions, that they feel AirVentures should be made aware of, accept the responsibility to advise us accordingly.
All passengers must be able to stand for the duration of the flight, and must be able to enter and exit the basket.
To conform with the industry accepted practice, we consider it unsafe to fly when pregnant.
The duration of transfers are approximate, the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions
Children must be accompanied by an adult

Operates all year round, please dress appropriately. Flat shoes are recommended.

Awesome crew, amazing views and a great breakfast after that, what an experience ! Everything went smoothly for the pickup at out hotel to the fligh, Highly recommanded !

Fun and memorable experience. Tour guides were extremely friendly. The views from above were breathtaking. I only wished it was longer. But still worth it! They also celebrated my birthday with a cake and song which was very nice. Like a said a MUST experience.

What an amazing morning we had. Our pilot Japie was so engaging, funny & knowledgeable. The views were incredible & we even spotted Giraffes & Antelopes. My son & I travelled from Australia; this is definitely a must do. Thank you Japie for a wonderful morning.

Incredible experience! Pilot was engaging with the passengers throughout the whole flight on animal sightings and surroundings/historical sites. Excellent service right from the beginning to the end.
