Overview

We are going to walk for about 2.5 hours searching for plants, birds and eventually mammals that are always moving around. One of the advantages to do this tour is that we always share what we see on the trails with the other guides and it gives us more opportunities to observe as much as we can. Also I will go with you to show you the Hummingbirds area found next to the Reserve where you will fall in love with those fast little birds.

Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve

Checking out the amazing animals and plants that inhabit the Monteverde Cloud Forest on this small-group, yet intimate, tour. You can use provided telescopes and field guides to spot some of the multitudes of birds in the area, and your field guide to identify the local plants and flowers. You’ll keep costs down with this group tour, but still have plenty of attention from your guide.

Great tours with a nice Guide

I got a recommendation for the Guide Jean. The night before the natural history tour I was on a nighttour with him and it was amazing! So I decided to also go on a natural history tour together with my girlfriend. We really and absolutely enjoyed it. Jean definitely knows what he is talking about and gave us a lot of interesting facts about different animals. He gave us interesting insights about the monteverde history and the flora in the national park. We have seen some interesting animals. As an animal is spotted, Jean directly knows what to do, he gets the perfect angle and makes great pictures. He is very enthusiastic about what he is doing and makes it with a lot of passion. You feel that. Besides the great tour itself we laughed a lot and had a great time with a charismatic and nice person. Try it out, you won't regret it!
