Delicious wine, fantastic tour guide

A Day to Remember

We had a warm, thoughtful, knowledgeable, engaging guide. His English was excellent and he kept us informed throughout the day. The wineries on the tour are tucked away in small villages, hold rich history, run entirely by multi-generational family members, and have moderate-size production. On the day we visited in off-season, we were the only visitors at the wineries. The views on-site are beautiful and the wines are of very high quality. I purchased some to be shipped back to the United States. The boat ride offered stunning views! The operators were friendly and safety conscious. Our lunch was a traditional feast in a quaint, converted schoolhouse. The entire day was quite nice and everyone was genuinely kind. I would do it all over again!

Excellent trip with Pedrao , very informative and lots of fun. Would highly recommend this outing if you come to Porto! We visited a couple of smaller producers and the quality of the wine was phenomenal!

We thoroughly enjoyed our day! The views of the valley were amazing. After drinking port wines all week it was cool to see how they’re made. We met winemakers and tasted many delicious varieties. Jose was a knowledgeable and kind guide. We left from Porto, there was a little drive, so be prepared for that.
