Get your team together and put your detective hats on to see if you can solve the clues and puzzles to escape in 60 minutes or less... The Cabin in the Woods Last Clue Change: November 22 Difficulty Levels: Standard 4/5, Advanced 5/5 Storyline: Venture into a creepy forest to investigate for yourself the ghost stories that have been circulating about the lady in the cabin in the woods. She is supposedly mad, but your curiosity has got the better of you and you start snooping in her cabin for answers - don't spend too long though, if you stay longer than an hour you'll become crazy just like the lady in the cabin! Suitability: *EPILEPSY WARNING* There are bright lights that flash in this room. This room is suitable for all ages at parental discretion. Please note there are fake cobwebs and props in this room that can look scary.

A perfect staff function

We visited Confinement Escape Rooms for our staff function, Deiryn had everything ready for us and the event went off without a hitch! Everyone had a blast and commented on how much they enjoyed it :-) . We will definitely be back, thanks Deiryn!

Family Scavenger Hunt

We booked the Scavenger Hunt. Divided the family into 2 Teams and competed for a winner's bragging rights. great fun and became the topic of conversation for the rest of the night. Highly recommend for family entertainment

Did not escape Cabin in the Woods!

Excellent set up, clear communication. Cabin in the Woods was a hard one; we did not escape. Was fun though. I’ve never seen an escape room that uses clues and spaces from previous rooms. Maybe it’s a New Zealand thing?

Did two escape rooms (cabin in the woods and hunting lodge) for our xmas work do. Loved them!! So much fun!! Highly recommend Confinement rooms Taupo. The staff are super friendly and the rooms are really fun and get the brain working. Will definitely be back for more rooms!!
