Overview

The tour takes about 90 minutes, and the route consists of mangrove trails and shallow lagoon waters. Our guides will be with you every step of the way, ensuring your safety and answering any questions you may have. The bioluminescence is hard to photograph, so we recommend you leave your camera at home and fully immerse yourself in this magical experience. Our cooler water bioluminescent experience is the Bioluminescent Comb-Jellyfish. These jellyfish light up blue when they are disturbed, creating a surreal and magical effect in the water. In the summer, dinoflagellates are present, which are single-celled, planktonic organisms. They naturally produce light so when the water is disturbed in which they are in a bright blue-green light glows. We discovered the mystery of bioluminescent comb jellies, the Jurassic-park-like feel of this bird refuge after dark, and the company of dolphins. We really had a wonderful experience and the team was really helpful throughout. One of our senior family member was not able to manage kayaking and the team helped tieing our kayak with their and got them through the entire tour. We didn't know what to expect so our teenagers were not prepared enough and had difficulties due to that. Our lessons learned is wear water resistant full hand top and pant and a jacket with hoodie. Mosquito repellent is must. Get a towel for each member, change of clothes. Since it's a night time tour, be prepared to drive in the one way lane road with no lights on for about 5 miles and no paved road for about 1.5 miles. It was little intimidating but we all got back home safe. Again kudos to the team for going above and beyond in taking care of everyone and bringing everyone back safe.
