While on your holidays in Kos, don't miss this full-day boat cruise! Every day from 10:00 - 17:15, Odyssey Boat will take you to three nearby islands on a fun and relaxing cruise. Explore small traditional islands and swim in crystal-clear water. Enjoy three one-hour stops on three islands, two of which you can only reach by boat. You will have plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful waters of the area and wander through the small villages of Vathi and Pserimos. Don't miss your chance to take amazing pictures of the breathtaking natural fjord of Vathi as the boat passes through it, or of wild dolphins swimming near the fish farms that the boat visits in search of them. Travel in a friendly and relaxing environment while listening to pleasant music. The boat's highly trained crew and our very experienced captain will take care of your safety and comfort. Enjoy a tasty Greek meal with vegetarian options available. Advise: good to have cash for purchases on small tourist shops.

Itinerary

Vathis

First stop is Vathi, a beautiful village on the island Kalymnos. The boat enters a magnificent natural fjord and as the valley of Vathi is slowly revealed, you have the chance to take pictures of the surrounding gulfs and caves. You will have 1 hour to explore, you can walk the peaceful streets of Vathi, try local sweets and the famous homemade orange juices, and watch the history of the island unfold before your eyes at the local sponge warehouses

St. Nikolaos and Georgiou Church

On our way to Plati islet, the boat pays a visit to the nearby fish farms. The smell of the fish attracts wild dolphins and most of the time you can see them jumping out of the water. Then the boat heads to Plati. It anchors close to the land and once the engines stop, you can jump in and swim around the boat. The sea is unbelievably clear, meaning you can easily notice the sandy bottom through the blue and turquoise waters. Meanwhile, on the boat, happy hour will start and the barman will serve refreshing cocktails at low prices.

Pserimos

The last stop is Pserimos island, which is inhabited by only 15 families during the winter and gets busier in the summer. You will have 1 hour here to explore. Swim on the shallow, sandy beach, discover hidden paths or just relax at a local cafeteria or taverna.

Odyssey 3 Island boat trip

While in Kos town my wife and I thought we would like to go on a boat trip. There was a large choice of boats to join but we ended up on Odyssey and had a great time. The Captain did his safety talk and also explained the trip and the bar was then opened for refreshments. Possibly due to sailing times from the harbour we went out with 2 other boats at the same time. The sight must have been fantastic from the shore as a mini Armada of pirate type ships took sail. After sailing for about 90 minutes our boat veered away into a bay off one of the Islands in the area where we did a bit of Dolphin spotting. This was unexpected but fabulous. We then visited a lovely harbourside village on Kalymnos where we could explore and visit shops and stalls selling local produce. Following a fantastic onboard barbecue we headed to Plati where the boat anchored for us to have a swim. Another short journey took us to Pserimos where we could explore, visit the local shops and tavernas or relax on the beach and swim. The last leg home involved a bit of Greek dancing which was great fun. The scenery, the relaxed atmosphere and fantastic friendly staff helped make this a memorable day.

This was a brilliant boat cruise. I would highly recommend and great value for money. The Islands were fab and swimmng in the lovely ocean was great. The guys were very informative.

Amazing family friendly boat trip

This is our second year visiting Kos in October and the second time we’ve been out on Odyssey. The boat is perfect for our family with plenty of space to spread out and have a pushchair with us. Prices at the bar are great with quick friendly service. The lunch is very tasty and served very quickly even though it’s busy. The staff are unbelievably good! They are friendly, patient with our threenager and interact with him/let him get involved with the ropes. The price is great for what you get compared to a TUI organised trip. The excursion itself is lovely, just long enough to enjoy each island. First island is a little shopping/taverna village (with loads of cats to entertain the kids), second island is a lovely swim in the sea and the last is a beautiful beach with opportunities to get ice cream or more beers. When we come to Kos again we will definitely sail with the Odyssey crew! Thanks for having us!

Captain and crew were lovely. Really recommend they made sure everyone had a great time and were very entertaining! Everyone did a big group dance at the end with the crew.

Princess Diana boat trip

Fabulous day, we were well looked after from start to finish, the crew of the Princess Diana were great. 3 stops at 3 islands and something different to see at each one. Lovely lunch of pork skewers and salad served on board. Altogether couldn't fault anything super value for money.
