As you board the luxury passenger van, you will be instantly treated like a celebrity. Leather seats and a comfortable ride await you. As we pick up other guests around the city, you will be given a mini-tour of the city or you may watch a film about other plantations to prepare you for your tour. Whitney Plantation (Pass By)

Whitney tells the story of the enslaved people who lived and worked there. It also includes the history of the early owners, the Haydel family.
Laura Plantation: Louisiana's Creole Heritage Site (Pass By)

Laura is a French Creole plantation that was run by four generations of French Creole women.
St. Joseph Plantation (Pass By)

St. Joseph Plantation was a wedding gift from her father Valcour, who was one of the wealthiest men of his time.
Oak Alley Plantation

Here you will spend about 3 hours on the plantation grounds exploring a national historic landmark. This historic site is dedicated to preserving and interpreting the history its inhabitants left behind. With an emphasis on its time as a working sugarcane plantation, visitors are invited to experience the exhibits, walk under the iconic Allee of Oak Trees, and tour the big house. You will have the opportunity to have lunch at the restaurant or deli. You can spend a few moments in the gift shop, at the bar, or just sit under the many oak trees on the plantation. Then you will board back on the bus and take a 35-minute ride up the highway for a swamp tour.

Once we arrive at Cajun Pride Swamp Tours, you will board a pontoon boat to take a 90-minute tour through the swamp where you will learn about the many species of wildlife residing there. You will have the opportunity to take plenty of pictures of the moss-draped Cypress trees in their majestic beauty.

Lake Pontchartrain (Pass By)

To close out the day, you will take a 45-minute ride back to the city on the Bonnet Carre Spillway Bridge overlooking Lake Pontchartrain before heading back to your hotel.

This tour was terrific! Kin of K’s Luxury Tours called us personally the night before to let us know what time to expect him at our hotel. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, sharing facts and history as we drove to Oak Alley. We had a tour and lunch at the plantation, a beautiful place with a terrible history of slavery. The exhibits did a good job of bringing this history to light. Kin picked us up right on time and we were off to the swamp. He made sure we had one of their best tour guides. Captain Tom was a real character with a lot of interesting facts about the swamp. We saw a ton of alligators as well as wild pigs and birds. We even got to hold a baby alligator! Kin picked us up again right on time. He provided bottled water and even had phone chargers to borrow which was great as my phone was running low. This was our absolute favorite day I. New Orleans. Do yourself a favor and book this tour!

Our driver Kindrell was awesome, he was very informative about the area and answered all questions. He was also very accommodating. Kin communicated all the details of pick up and drop off and knew the tour details very well. We did the all day tour and went to the swamp first. Captain Dustin was great! This was the highlight of our trip! The animals were awesome! Oak Alley plantation is beautiful! This is a must do tour!!
