What an amazing and informative tour, also very humbling seeing where our soliders fought during WWI and having described to you the conditions they had to tolerate - it certainly was no picnic. Brigitte, our guide, brought to life their daily lives of struggles and hardship endured whilst fighting the Germans. The Wellington Quarry was also an interesting visit to see how our New Zealand miners within a short period of time extended the tunnels under Arras, from the Middle Ages, for a surprise attack on the enemy.
A fantastic and a must do for tour by an extremely knowledgeable guide. Highly recommended.
