Our guide ‘Charlie’ ( obviously not his Turkish name - but the equivalent), was both inclusive and a font of knowledge on all things Gallipoli. His English is excellent and he used examples to help us understand the why’s and wherefores of how, why and where the battles were fought. He was clear in his instructions when we were given time to explore on our own and to return to the van. The lunch at the restaurant was a good choice for the different nationalities that were on the tour. Tasty and sufficient. Soup, followed by chicken kebabs, rissoles, salad and fries. Then a mandarin to finish.
The pickup and drop off to our respective hotels was convenient and efficient. .. thanks to our respective drivers. All in all I would recommend Crowded house tours to anyone intending to visit Gallipoli.
