Overview

In this 75 minute Distillery Experience, you'll enjoy a complimentary G&T on arrival whilst you listen to the story of Sky Wave, how we started and why. You'll learn how we make our gin, what makes it so delicious and smooth, and you'll meet our three stills. You'll then go on to taste three of our gins in the style of International spirits competitions, and learn first-hand just how delicious they are. Finally, you'll be invited to enjoy your 10% discount on shop purchases, valid on the day of your Experience only.

Itinerary

What to expect: - A complimentary Sky Wave Gin & Tonic on arrival, made with The World’s Best Contemporary Gin. - While you’re enjoying your G&T we’ll tell you the story of the Sky Wave Gin journey and how we came about almost by accident! - Then meet our two production stills, hear how they work, what they are called and, if you’re lucky we may be distilling and you’ll see them in action. Learn how Sky Wave Gin is distilled from botanicals to bottle and understand why our gin is famous for being so fabulously smooth. - Next, let us tap into your inner gin aficionado and invite you to partake of a tutored gin tasting, sampling three of the seven gins in our range. We’ll guide you through the professional process, so you can enjoy the nuances of the different flavours. Our Master Distiller who created The World’s Best Contemporary Gin leads some of these sessions. - As the 'formal' part of the event ends, relax in our bar and buy another G&T if you wish, while considering how you might enjoy using your 10% discount which is available on all retail purchases on the date of your Experience. - Drivers’ Packs are available to take home for those unable to drink on the day.

A must do Gin Tour

Just a brilliant and informative tour. Helen, our tour host, is passionate about the brand and gin in general. She displays a real knowledge of the science and the art, which is fantastic. We very much enjoyed it and would highly recommend it to anyone. (The gin is pretty good too :)

We had a fantastic time on the Distillery tour! Helen was an outstanding guide who was very knowledgeable and passionate about gin! She made the whole experience fun and engaging from start to finish. The insights and tasting were incredible. The experience was very informative whilst being informal. Helen was absolutely delightful, very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about her work. The tasting was good fun, trying to work out what’s in it and we will be back in the summer to enjoy an evening sitting outside in the historical setting sipping gin!

Fabulous experience and our host was so passionate and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the tasting experience and sitting in the bar after and having a few gins. A lovely place and a great experience.
