    Jason deCaires Taylor horse scupltures " The rising tides" (moved from London to Haugesund in 2019) and the statue of Harald Hårfagre are both short stops on the cycle tour. Here your guide will describe the history and stories behind the sculptures and statue.

    The National Monument is an ode to King Harald Fairhair – the Viking king that unified Norway into one kingdom 1150 years ago. It is believed that Harald Fairhair is buried in this area. Here you will have time to take in both the monument and Korsshaugen, the stone cross that dates back 1000 years.

Great fun ride to the Rising Tides

We really enjoyed the electric bike ride through haugesund and onto the Rising Tides sculptures. Well organised and professional throughout. Both chaps were really nice and couldn't do enough to help. Would highly recommend

What an absolutely fabulous bike tour, the guides were brilliant and really informative. A bike ride we will never forget. It was one of the highlights of our P&O Norwegian Fiords Cruise.

Our guide Egil was brilliant he was so knowledgeable ,not just a guide but a local historian ,took us around all the sights with very interesting information , The bikes were easy to ride but that's speaking from someone who has their own ebike. Best was to see the city forget the hope on bus .

Lovely way to see a bit of Haugesund and find out more about it. The beauty of this trip is that you can see so much more than if you walked round, with frequent stops for information or stories from our fab guide Eggle. I would highly recommend, especially if like us, you are only there for a day.
