Come see Nashville up close and personal on our 1.5- or 2.5-hour Segway tour. Tours start and end just a block from lower Broadway. 1.5-HOUR MUSIC CITY SNAPSHOT TOUR Travel around the entertainment district and take in sights such as Ascend Amphitheater, Schermerhorn Symphony Center, Country Music Hall of Fame, Bridgestone Arena, the Ryman Auditorium and our Music City Center. This tour is perfect for first time riders, experienced riders on a time crunch and those just stopping by Nashville for a day! Begin with a 30min training session before heading out for an hour of fun! 2.5-HOUR DOWNTOWN TOUR We'll take you 5 miles through Nashville covering such landmarks as the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, Country Music Hall of Fame, Bridgestone Arena, Fort Nashborough, Bicentennial Mall, Farmer's Market, and the Tennessee State Capitol. We'll even cover areas most tours can't get to, because you're on your very own Segway! Tour has a 30min training session followed by 2hr Segway tour!

Itinerary

  • iRide Nashville

    Begin your tour experience with an indoor Segway orientation session that lasts approximately 30 minutes. During your training you will watch a brief video that will introduce you to how the Segway operates. Each guest will be given one-on-one time with your guide to train on the Segway that will ease any nerves. Because we value your safety, all guests are required to wear helmets which will be provided. Of course, you are welcome to bring your own bike or skate helmet if you prefer. After training you will be asked to sign waivers. We ask that all guests wear flat, comfortable shoes (open- or close-toed is acceptable).

The perfectly fun way to explore Nashville (or any other city...)

My wife and I went on my birthday (1/27) and had a wonderful time! We had been on previous Segway tours in other cities but this was one of the best. Segways allow you to go places that aren't accessible by car but don't tire you out like walking a lot. Having a birthday in January can be both good and bad depending on the weather, and even though it was cold we had a bright, sunny day for the experience. It also meant that there were only three people on the tour which made it more personal. Signed up on the phone via Tommy who was very helpful and more than willing to work with me on things such as not being able to make the trip, etc. Eric was our tour guide and did an excellent job of preparing us for the ride. Even though my wife and I had been on other tours, we learned things about the Segway that we had not been told before. I already knew that the machine has a way to tell you you're going too fast and backs you off (yes, I tried that once...) but didn't know it would vibrate in other dangerous circumstances (didn't push it that far on past trips...). Eric is also very knowledgeable about Nashville's more interesting sights and had considerable inside information about certain places. There are breaks along the way to rest your feet (which are certainly needed for people of advanced age....) so you don't have to worry about spending the entire time on the machine if you aren't able. Besides, since you aren't allowed to take pics or vids while riding, it's your opportunity to do so. We used walkie talkies mounted to the machines to hear the commentary which was pretty good except in the more noisy spots. Would recommend, if possible, that maybe they use ear pieces for better hearing. The only things that would have made this tour better would be warmer weather (can't help that) and better hearing of the commentary but I fully recommend taking this tour is you have the means. You will enjoy it immensely! BTW, if you are afraid of the difficulty of riding one of these, don't be. You will be surprised at how easy and intuitive it is in just a short time!

Everyone was nice and friendly. Loved hearing about the city history while on the Segway tour. We got to see things we wouldn’t otherwise see or know about without the tour. Definitely recommend and it’s something we would do again.

This is our 3rd time with iRide Nashville and every time it gets better. This time we had daughter and son in law from California and brother from Hawaii with us. Two of them had never been on a Segway before but it only took a couple of minutes for them to get the hang of it and all had a great time and said they will do it again. Eric was a fantastic guide and very knowledgeable about Nashville and all of the areas we traveled to on our Segways. We have recommended this to friends too and they have all had similar experiences. We will keep coming back!

Absolutely fantastic tour of Nashville. We saw things that the average tourist would never see. Training was easy and the Segways were great. Our tour guide Patrick was knowledgeable, down to earth, and funny. Highly recommend this tour.
