An excellent insight into our local city and its history.

Ian was an excellent guide. We learned lots about a place that we thought we knew very well. Not only did he give us facts and figures, he also related some great stories. We came home ready to search for more information on a number of the things we learned from Ian. It was a small group and we thought it was excellent value for money, even more so when we were told the proceeds were going to charity. Thank you!

So glad we did this tour. Ian was accommodating and knowledgeable , didn't flood us with unecessary detail but we felt we got a good handle on the character of Colchester and its part in our history. The tour was nicely paced and it was like spending time with a trusted and enthusiastic colleague or friend.

We spent a highly enjoyable 90 minutes with our guide, Ian, seeing the sights of Colchester. Ian is very personable and really brought the sights of Colchester to life, thanks to his wide and detailed knowledge of the history. The back stories and anecdotes retained our interest throughout and we would not hesitate to recommend Ian to anyone wishing to know more about Colchester

Loved Colchester. So much to see and do. The Castle is amazing and so interesting. Very friendly for all age groups. Spent so much time there we will go back another day to see other places. I thoroughly recommend a visit to the City. Best seen on foot.
