Amazing tropical beach ride

Very nice tour with a good variety of different landscapes like beach , mangrove forest and single trails. Very well cared for horses and strong and experienced tour guides.

They called the day before to make sure we had all the information we needed. Everyone was friendly, clear with instructions, and brought a fun vibe! They even took pictures of us on the beach with our group!

Riding beautiful horses through Almond forest, Survivor Island beach was incredible. Felt like a dream. The trail ride was long & although the guide didn't interact much she did offer to take pictures of us although we were told to leave our phones in the car & she didn't have a phone or didn't offer. Take along a fanny pack & bring your phone in it! Luckily another kind rider brought his & sent us a few pictures. Thank you Abdul!

Bring a big water bottle and hydrate beforehand! I would pack lightly, keys wallet and phone that’s all and make sure everything you have on you is secure! Your proficiency at horse riding doesn’t matter much. I was a first timer and nervous for no more than a split second. You can tell the these horses are extremely well trained and they know what they are doing, however remember YOU are still in charge of them! All in all this was the most amazing experience ever. I had Harmony and she was a blessing to work with. Super sweet horse, listens to directions well and LOVES to try to eat everything! You get time midway to rest, drink water, and take pictures before you head back to the farm, I also felt comfortable enough to take pictures as we were riding the horses which helped for actionable pictures and videos. Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable. Be patient, listen and if something falls off while your riding speak up! They WILL stop and retrieve whatever it is you dropped so don’t be shy. All in all have fun, I could go on forever but I’d say go ahead and book a trip to see for yourself!

As a horse owner and experienced rider, I had a wonderful time at this horseback riding event in Puerto Rico. The owner was incredibly kind and clearly loves and cares deeply for her horses. It was refreshing to see such well-cared-for animals, and it’s obvious that she prioritizes their well-being above all else. The horses were well-trained, responsive, and patient—especially considering that many of the riders who book these experiences have little to no experience around horses. I truly appreciated that many of the horses were ridden bitless, which shows a thoughtful approach to their comfort and helps reduce the likelihood of inexperienced riders accidentally hurting their mouths. The ride itself was absolutely stunning. The trails showcased Puerto Rico’s natural beauty and made for a truly peaceful and memorable experience. That said, I do think the experience could benefit from a bit more education for guests, especially those new to horses. Many people seem to forget—or not realize—that horses are living beings with their own personalities and instincts. Even the most well-trained horse can have off days, react unpredictably, or exhibit natural behaviors like kicking or refusing to move forward. They’re not machines, and it’s important for riders to understand and respect that. I would love to see a short briefing or educational moment added before the ride to help set expectations and create a safer, more respectful environment for both the horses and the guests. Overall, I absolutely loved this experience and highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates horses and nature. Just remember to come with patience, respect, and an open mind—because these amazing animals deserve it.
