First time surfing

Me and my 12 year old son had a very good time. It was the first time we surfed. The day before the session we were sent links to read and watch and that really helped. Already booked my second session and highly recommend.

Great surf experience

We tried a UP2U surf as we last tried one of the companies located on the beach last time we went surfing in Bali (Jan 2024). Communication was good via whatsapp, had to pay in advance which was different to previously but also fine for me. We went to an actual building as opposed to meeting the vendor on the beach. Lockers were provided to keep your stuff in, although you leave your key there and hope it stays safe (ours was). The owner who handles all of the bookings is there and allocates instructors etc. We don’t have a lot of experience as it was only our 2nd time surfing but generally the teachers are the same no matter where you go on the beach I have noticed. My particular teacher was quite hands-off, since I am a beginner was expecting more guidance throughout but never came. My kids instructors were excellent however, friendly and engaging and ensured their safety throughout. At the end some pictures and a few videos were shared with us (google link was sent to us) which was a nice touch and great memorabilia. Was expecting to have to pay for them but it was included in the price. There was a low tide due to the full moon which made it difficult to surf, so we restricted it to one day only, when we did it previously we did it three times as the conditions were better but that is no fault of this company! They offer a basic group shower facility at the back of the shop, which is good to rinse off the sand before heading home. Overall would certainly recommend this company.

It was a great experience! Me and my boyfriend were beginners and we totally enjoyed the lessons. Each of us had a personal coach, teaching us all the tips&tricks

Best surfing lesson to go to

My son had his private surf lesson. He had three lessons and had progress well. Our booking process was very easy and I get a reply very fast. At his last day of lesson, he got on very well with his coach and he had an amazing experience !!

This is my 4th times taking lesson in UP2U!! Absolutely loving it. The coach is energetic, and fun! From beginner to intermediate, would really recommend this place for taking lessons and advancing your skills
