El Paseo de La Princesa, the most beloved promenade in Puerto Rico, dates back to 1853. This beautifully restored walk is a favorite place for locals day and night and welcomes millions of visitors from all over the world. It was built in 1853 to allow Victorian-era residents to take their constitutionals along the water. An ancient La Princesa jail built outside the city walls, with original cells carefully preserved. For tours before 2pm entrance is included.

The monument to Isabella II; the "walking trees"; and the ancient original entrance to the Walled City - The Gate of San Juan. Don’t miss this tour

Published on Aug, 2024

The tour with Maria was excellent! It consisted of a walking tour of specific landmarks and her sharing her vast knowledge of Puerto Rican history, culture and politics. Lastly a tip: Google Maps walking directions had me at the wrong meet place, I so am grateful she waited for me! If you’re walking from another point in old San Juan, another landmark next to the meetup restaurant is the Puerto Rico Tourism Company. You don’t want to miss this tour!

Fun, Interesting, Informative Tour for our Family

Published on Jul, 2024

Professor Nat met us at our meeting spot and was ready to adjust based on weather and closures due to a holiday. We appreciated her flexibility. She knows so much about Puerto Rico history and culture! She took great photos for us and was attentive to both our children (age 13 and 17). Highly recommend her for your tour!

Great Tour

Published on Feb, 2024

Professor Nat is very knowledgeable and provided a great experience. She was quite accommodating to our interests & needs. We were amazed at her knowledge of all the local plants. She took us to a newer coffee shop, which was quite good as they grow, roast & sell their own coffee beans.

Great Tour of Old San Juan!

Published on Jan, 2024

We got a recommendation to book a tour of Old San Juan with Professor Natalia from a friend and we are so glad we did. She is extremely knowledgeable about Old San Juan and clearly loves Puerto Rico and sharing her expertise with her clients. This was a somewhat unusual tour, as the San Sebastien Festival was just getting underway and many streets were closed. Despite the challenges, Prof Nat still organized an awesome tour that we will always remember.

Terrific overview of Old San Juan!

Published on Jan, 2024

We had a great time on this adventure, and Natalia was so well versed in everything about Puerto Rico! We did this the day after we arrived, and it gave us a foundation on San Juan and Puerto Rico. I strongly suggest this for anyone who wants to know more about where they are!
