Overview

Our seated Premium Wine Tasting is fun and informative, while tasting some fabulous premium wines paired with a delicious cheese plate. Learn some of the tips and hints with wine etiquette. Ivanhoe Wines is situated on 80 beautiful acres of estate and our cellar door is overlooking the vineyard. Your wine host is passionate and knowledgeable. Our wines are not sold in bottle shops, which is more boutique and exclusive. We also offer premium engraving on our wines which can personalise our wines for birthdays and weddings.

Itinerary

Enjoy a fun and informative seated Wine tasting experience with accompanying cheese plate. Our friendly and knowledgeable team will help you find wines that you love. Allow 1 hour for the experience. Taste some of our white wines, then a bubbly and then our red wines. Please advise the time you would prefer on your booking. We'll do our best to secure this time for you and contact you on the number provided to confirm.

The best of them all? Ivanhoe Winery

Spent a couple of days in the Hunter Valley exploring the wineries, gardens and food. Ivanhoe Winery was the best one. I know wine and have been through many in Europe, so I want good straight knowledge on the wine, and entertained not bored by all the crap that many deliver from a script. Our man Danny was brilliant, straight to the point and guts of the wine’s character so I could dive into to the best of the selections. His stories and delivery were point perfect. A genuine raconteur with a great sense of humour and gentle manner. We stayed for a couple of hours, enjoyed the exceptional wines the cheeses and the history and atmosphere of a truly unique winery amongst the corporate dross of the many other wineries in the Hunter. Ivanhoe is a winery driven by the same passion I’ve experienced in some of Europes best boutique vineyards it’s a credit to the owners and staff who love the craft. Danny is the front of house every vineyard needs to bring the experience to life and not bore you to death. Thank you to all at Ivanhoe for an entertaining and wonderful experience. Walked away with some excellent wines. Shall be ordering more

Fantastic tasting. Wines are great and cheese platter had a great selection. Only downside was going late in the afternoon in summer it was very hot on their deck.
