What could be better than surfing at Hanalei Bay, with an expert local surfer to teach you the moves with a Kauai surfing lesson.Sandy bottom, close to shore, stand up after your ride. Beginner to advance beginner waves most every day of the year. **at this time or reopening during Covid-19 we offer private or semi private for 2 or for 3 Private 13+ is 150.00 plus tax//semi private if you have 2 is 180.00 plus tax//semi private if you have 3 is 250.00 plus tax. Private for under 13 is 125.00** If you are a group of 4 that is available at 300.00 plus tax. This also assists the instructors to be safer.

Best experience - did it twice!

This was literally the best for my family. We had Kohl, who is great with teens. My family insisted on doing it twice because they loved it so much! There are several surfing lessons available but this is the best in my opinion.

Fantastic experinece as always with them! Easy booking, good price, cute surf shop and wonderful instructors (we had Kohl who was fantatstic!). We are repeat customers everytime we are in Hanalei! If you are curious about learning to surf or honing your skills, this is a great way to do it!

Good experience all around

It was a fantastic experience. Nate, our instructor, was detailed in his dry land instructions. We felt confident when we got into the water. We all got up and rode the waves several times. Hanalei Bay is an excellent place to learn to surf because the waves are manageable and it’s shallow. Good experience all around!

Great experience, great staff

We hadn't had a chance to surf for our entire week due to the weather/runoff but managed to get in a session on our last full day. It was our son's first time surfing, and it had been years since we had been so we booked a family/group lesson. Sean, our instructor, was great and had all of us up and riding waves in no time. Our son was hooked !

Semi Private Surf lessons

We had an amazing experience with Hawaiian surfing adventures. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff at the office were incredibly helpful and understanding of our needs. They provide a shuttle ride to the beach if needed. Our instructor Evan was exceptionally patient and kind, especially with my elder son, who has autism. It meant so much to see him feel comfortable and enjoy the experience. Both my kids had a fantastic time. Highly recommend!
