Overview

Enjoy unspoiled nature, fresh air, pure spring water and magnificent waterfalls during this Zrmanja Kayaking Trip. The experience is not to demanding (class II/III) and it is safe enough for beginner kayakers too.

Itinerary

Intact nature, clear waters and a bounty of flora and fauna make the Zrmanja one of the most beautiful Croatian and European rivers. So, kayaking down its rapids and falls will be both a fun and memorable experience. Furthermore, to make this trip even more magnificent we added another hidden gem – the Krupa River.

  • Availability for shows cannot be checked without making a booking. Credit cards will only be charged upon confirmation of show availability
  • You will get a life jacket , a helmet and a paddle, plus long neoprene suit and a rain jacket in case of cold weather. Waterproof containers are available for personal items (camera, drinks, etc.). Don’t forget to bring shorts or a bathing suit, a T-shirt, water shoes, a towel, sun cream and water. In case of colder weather take a long-sleeved shirt.
  • Weather - the summers are typically warm and sunny. From May to October temperatures are comfortable for hiking, paddling, and swimming. Rain is always a possibility in Croatia so it is essential to bring adequate rain wear and a jacket in case of inclement weather. In the unlikely case of extreme weather conditions we will reschedule the activity for a day or two prior or after the date booked, if possible. If the rescheduling is not possible, the payments will be refunded in full.

Such a fun trip. Great guides and beautiful scenery. Some rapids but quite gentle so no previous experience is necessary. Would highly recommend.

My sister did this tour a few years ago and recommended it and I’m so glad I i did it! Dan was our guide and did a great job moving us at a reasonable pace and making sure we were all safe and having fun. Two breaks to get out of the kayak. Bring a snack and water. If you are a super experienced kayaker or looking for a strenuous workout, may not be a good trip for you.

Excellent trip. Highly recommend! Do take water shoes or you can rent them for 3 euros. Bring lunch. We had a 25 minute stop for lynch and swim in the middle. Started with paddling and small waterfalls then some slightly bigger ones and ended with the biggest one. Only one person in the boat goes down and it's really fun! I was able to use one of the guides boats so we both got to experience it. Or you can jump over the falls which also looked fun. Excellent guides. They like to splash you but we got pretty good at splashing them too! A final 20 minute paddle to where we pulled out the boats. You can change there if you want and also get food and drinks. After a short stop there the van took us back to the starting point. A very fun day!

We had an amazing experience! Tour guides were great and the tour was such good value for money! Tour lasts 4.5 hrs. Quite a lot of canoeing if you have smaller children. Would recommend shoes or waterproof shoes as there is a bit where you walk across rocks in the middle. You also get really wet so would where swimming gear - I wore shorts which was a mistake! Would deffo do again! For a half day tour, it took a large amount of the day - we started at 10:30 and got back to the car around 16:00. So bear in mind if you want to do anything else with the day.
