Overview

Experience SW Florida's tropical plants, wildlife, beaches, and waterways from the personal view of you own kayak. Adventure are led by Recreation Professionals providing safety, direction, and exploration of natural areas and attractions. Both locals and tourist enjoy exploring south Sarasota County.

Itinerary

Venice, Italy is not the only place known for its waterways… Try Venice, Florida! On our two-hour kayak tours, we will guide you through tropical waterways that give you a chance to explore Florida’s vegetation and wildlife up close. We will learn about the natural surroundings and history of Southwest Florida while enjoying an experience on the water! We will start at the South Venice Beach Kayak Launch where we will do a safety talk, explain kayaking procedures, and discuss the route. After a short walk to the water, we will be off on our adventure! The paddle starts in the canals of South Venice and down Alligator Creek where we will explore the flora and fauna of Florida while getting an excellent workout! After approximately 40 minutes in the canals, we will cross the intercoastal waterway to land on the East side of Manasota Key. There, we will dock the boats and spend time exploring South Venice's private beach, accessible only by boats. The South Venice and Englewood beaches are known for their shell and shark teeth collections, so who knows what we will find! After spending some time exploring the beach, we will get back into the kayaks and return to the launch point.

Terrific kayaking

Manny was great!!! He made the tour fun and interesting even though it was hot. He also was able to set the right pace for a mix of experienced kayakers and beginners. We are looking forward to going again

Our kayak tour this morning with Manny was outstanding on a number of levels. It's apparent Manny loves his job and he's very engaging with each kayaker. Manny's description of the area and his knowledge of floral and fauna was enlightening. The trip itself along the picturesque ICW and Alligator Creek was beautiful! We also enjoyed our search for sharks teeth on the beach. We all highly recommend this experience, just do it!

Very fun experience. Loved the calm waters and finding the different shark teeth and different types of sea shells. Both guides where very knowledgeable about the environment. Would do this again

The best Kayak tour in FL

We are a couple in our sixties and didn't want to hassle with anything just to be taken around, educated and enjoy wonderful experience that isn't so touristy but more native to Florida. Had such a great time, felt totally relaxed, in good hands with our guides Manny and Tyler who had such great energy, and most of all safe. They tailored the trip to our needs We were visiting from Southern CA and got good idea of the real FL Highly recommend kayaking the canals of Venice
