Overview

Our safari trips are private and exclusive. You do not share the Safari vehicle with any other guest, just your own group. Any number of guests, between 1 and 8, can be accommodated on 1 Safari vehicle. All safari trips are guided by a professional qualified and registered guide. Because our Safari trips are private and exclusive it can be tailor-made for your requirements. Kids are very welcome provided they are accompanied by responsible adults. Our youngest guest was 10 months and the oldest an 89 years young gentleman extraordinaire.

We will try and assist to make your trip seamless with only one contact point. Pick up can also be done at any destination within a ... 8 km radius from the town of Hazyview. Please check thoroughly, no pick ups can be done from outside the designated areas. Pick up from the Kruger Gate hotel and Sabi River Bush lodge will be subject to a once off $20 fuel surcharge. Unforgettable Safari Experience with Kruger Gateway Safaris!

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Kruger Gateway Safaris, spending 10 unforgettable hours exploring the park with our guide, Gerrie. We were fortunate to witness some of Kruger’s most iconic animals up close, including lions, buffalo, elephants, and rhinos—a truly breathtaking experience! Gerrie’s sharp eye and deep understanding of animal behavior ensured that we were always in the right place at the right time for the best sightings. On top of being an expert guide, Gerrie is also a fantastic photographer. He captured stunning photos throughout the day and generously shared them with us afterward, allowing us to relive the experience and take home incredible memories. Beyond the wildlife, the entire experience was seamless, from the comfortable vehicle to the insightful commentary and respect for nature. Having read the great reviews and via a personal recommendation from our Air BNB host.. we contacted Gerrie and organised a half day safari. One word to describe the experience .. absolutely Fantastic. From start to finish Gerrie was like the Wikipedia of Kruger and its wildlife. So informative.. and he had the answer to every random question we had. Great day, great rapport, great guy. We saw 4 of the Big 5 and so much more. What an experience.
