Overview

Sikkim Green Lake Trek This is a very picturesque trail which combines natural beauty with spectacular views of high peaks. There are vast tracts of thick forest, with several varieties of rhododendrons, other colorful flowers, and birds and many waterfalls on both sides of the trail. Kanchenjunga was one of the first peaks to be attempted by expeditions before world war two. As Nepal was closed, the approach from Sikkim, via the Zemu Glacier, was followed instead. Pre war Everest expeditions also passed through North Sikkim and this trail was part of their route. Today, it is still largely unexplored country as not many parties have been allowed across to Green Lake. (Harish Kapadia).

It was very good experience with Adarsh tour Gangtok , special thank to Mr.Gopal for planning itenerary as per my requirements which exceeded my expectations, The entire trip they have provided Innova Cresta with experience drivers. After deciding to go on a tour in North Sikkim, I discovered the requirement for foreigners to arrange tours only through a Sikkim registered agency and be accompanied by a government-authorized guide. After reaching out to several registered travel agencies for quotes, I found the best offer from Mr. Gopal at Adarsh Tours. At the time, I wasn't aware of his leading status in Gangtok. However, upon arriving, it became evident why he holds such a reputation. Mr. Gopal proved to be exceptionally professional and accommodating, readily incorporating ad hoc changes I suggested.
