We’ll then venture to see some Off-Broadway theatres in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of Midtown, where shows are developed, rehearsed, and produced before making their public debut. Here, you'll have the opportunity to take a behind-the-scenes tour of a theatre facility and see the process of how a show goes from an idea to being on Broadway. You'll see the costume and set design rooms, learn about the staging process, and even hear people in classes and rehearsals singing and dancing.

This tour runs year-round and will proceed rain or shine unless such weather constitutes a dangerous situation. Please dress comfortably and casually in weather-appropriate attire. Wear comfortable shoes for walking.
In the event of road or attraction closures, your guide will do their best to work around the obstacles or take your tour to alternate locations.
The included visit to a rehearsal studio requires climbing 3 flights of stairs with no available elevator. Please be prepared for this, as opting out and waiting for the group outside will impact your tour experience.
This is a child-friendly tour. Children under the age of 6 are permitted to join this tour free of charge.

My daughter and I had a trip to New York city in December and both love musicals so booked in for the Broadway - Behind the Scenes Tour. Mickey was our guide and was so knowledgable. We learnt so much and Mickey was able to answer alot of our questions. A great tour if you like musicals and all things theatre!

We had an incredible behind-the-scenes tour of OpenJar Studios! Our guide was informative, engaging, and wonderfully patient with all of our questions. They shared fascinating insights about the space and the creative process, making the experience truly memorable. What stood out the most was how the guide brought everything to life, making it accessible and exciting for all ages. My teen, who is usually hard to impress, said it was the highlight of our time in Manhattan! If you're looking for a unique, inspiring experience, I highly recommend visiting OpenJar Studios. We took the Schubert Theatres tour. Brett, our guide, was over-the-top fantastic. Perfect in every way. The massive and wonderful amount of information was delivered with enthusiasm and passion.
