Overview

Enjoy a 4.5-hour experience at the pristine untouched Great Barrier Reef at Cape Tribulation. Itinerary

This shared tour begins in Cape Tribulation beach where guests board the vessel bound for the tropical waters of the Great Barrier Reef. The Ocean Safari vessel is based on the original design of a rescue craft and is a rigid inflatable boat driven by 700hp engines. The experienced Skipper and Eco Host ensure the trip is filled with fun and appreciation of the Great Barrier Reef and the coastal rainforest of the Daintree, two world heritage areas side by side. Magical memories like these sometimes only happen once in a lifetime. On most days, the rainforest can be seen along the mainland beach whilst snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef. Swim alongside sea turtles, which is found in abundance swimming over reefs full of colorful coral, along with myriads of tropical fish, eagle rays, giant clams and starfish.off the Daintree Coast Courtesy pickups from Cape Tribulation accommodation are included and the Ocean Safari has an Advanced Eco Accreditation. The tour ends at the original departure point.

Amazing experience. Walking through the mangroves, on to the beach and directly on to the boat was simply magical! The crew were fun, and the pumping tunes on the boat speeding out to the reef really revved up the excitement. We had perfect snorkelling conditions and swimming with the turtles was something we will never forget. A wonderful experience, and a great cafe for lunch after. Would highly recommend

My wife and I really enjoyed the whole trip. The team were really helpful and knowledgeable. It was a short and fun boat ride to the reef and we had 2 hours of memorable snorkelling. Turtles, rays, clown fish and so much more. Would absolutely recommend. Small group and great value.

This trip was absolutely stunning. The reef was very much alive with a huge variety of coral and reef fish to see. The crew , Max and Brendon, was very knowledgable, explaining everything from coral growth to geological formations. They were helpful, friendly and easy going. They took photos which we can upload, guided us through the water and on the cay island. The booking was easy and straight forward, the staff was friendly and efficient. All up it was a great experience and I can highly recommend it Thank you team
