We chose On Bird due to their focus on safety, their provision of child-sized equipment, and the fact that they would have a guide in the water with us. All factors exceeded expectations, and we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Pick-up was prompt, and our guide - John - gave us the rundown on what to expect and all safety guidelines. Our group was 4 adults (2 of which were seniors) and one 8 year old, with only one of us professing to be a strong swimmer (and only one of us had ever snorkeled before). Safety continued to be the number one subject as we headed for the first stop to try on gear and get acclimated. Gear for our daughter was perfectly sized - she was very comfortable with her mask, snorkel, fins, and life jacket. All gear was well maintained and comfortable (they had asked for sizes beforehand, so it was the right size for everyone). John was amazing - friendly and knowledgeable from the start, and very patient with our newbie group. At one point, he was pulling part of our group through the water while they hung onto a buoy. And, he "showed off" and performed some tricks underwater to the delight of our daughter. I have never been snorkeling, so I can't compare the reefs here to other places. I'm sure there are much better examples in the world, but I was absolutely transported. It was beautiful, and amazing, and I definitely will do more based on this experience. I can only hope other tour operators perform on the same level as On Bird!

We had a terrific time today on our snorkeling trip with three generations of my family. Cony and Lee were fantastic with my boys (5 & 8), allowing the adults to enjoy ourselves without worrying about the boys’ safety. Lee towed my 5 year old around the entire time, allowing him to just relax and look around. We really appreciated the fact that they provided educational information about the coral and fish before we got into the water. I also appreciated the first stop at a beach to familiarize everyone with the equipment and make sure we were all able to participate safely. While the reef we visited wasn’t as colorful as it may have been in years past, it was still fun to see all the types of coral and all the colorful fish. Overall, it was a very professional operation that I highly recommend to anyone, especially those with young children.

My family and I had a great time. OnBird's guide(Mintee) is great and my kids loved interacting with him. My kids felt safe in the water though this was their first time doing snorkelling. He really took great care of them throughout the whole tour, checking in on them every now and then to ensure they are okay in the water. Because of his help, my wife and I were able to freely snorkeled around without worrying about our kids. The spots that he brought us have lots of coral reefs and small fish to see. We truly enjoyed the trip! Highly recommended.

Highly recommended. Onbird offers a tailored experience for families and kids. Our guide, Mintee, was very kind, profesional and supportive. The whole team is extremely service and safety minded from the driver to the boat staff. The material supplied is well maintained and very clean (this would include everything from the boat to the diving equipment). The presented diving spots are excellent for Phu quoc and among the best for the gulf of Thailand. Taking all the above into account, definetly one the best outfit operating in south east asia for a fun and personalised family snorkeling trip operating within the highest safety standards. Definitely the best in phu Quoc, by far.

Mintee was an amazing guide. Did this with my 4 and 8 year old daughters who had never snorkeled before. The guides made sure everyone had a wonderful trip and left with a love of snorkeling and appreciation of the ocean. Highly recommend!
