Not only was this the highlight of our trip to Taiwan, it was the best personal tour that we have ever been on. Ivan was a fantastic guide. We saw the most beautiful sites and learned so much. Ivan was prepared for everything and took us to so many different areas. We have told all of our friends and family about this and cannot recommend this enough. 5+ stars.

From booking to pick-up and drop-off, Ivan was very communicative, professional, and flexible. Ivan was raised in Hualien and has completed countless tours in Taroko so he definitely knows all the of the best spots and routes to make your tour as memorable and seamless as possible. I've done a large bus tour with my family in the past and the experience with Ivan was a complete 180 - customized to our needs, we could move as fast or slowly as we wanted through each spot, he shared so much knowledge about the area, and made was very thoughtful and efficient with our time throughout the day. We had a fantastic time with him and learned so much - I would definitely recommend him and his company to others looking for a private tour guide in Taiwan!

My family of two adults and two young children ages four and seven. We booked this tour to explore the gorge and surrounding areas. Ivan was our tour guide, he was warm, flexible, knowledgeable, a good driver, an overall great tour guide. Also, his English was very good. I would highly recommend the tour and this company. The first part of the tour is the hardest, because it is a one hour hike and can be tiresome towards the end, especially for young children. We were able to move some things around so the kids don't get too tired, especially for my four year old and they were very flexible with whatever we needed. Lunch was at a simple but delicious place and was also low-cost . You can also visit the 7-Eleven afterwards to pick up any drinks or snacks that you want . The views and the company were excellent, go visit and book a tour to save yourself the hassle of getting lost and knowing exactly which places to hit up.

Roy was an amazing, knowledgeable tour guide with a lot of enthusiasm for what he does. We had a great time and Taroko is stunning. Highly recommend to make the most out of the time there!

Jason was a wonderful, knowledgeable guide who was passionate about Hualien and the history of the area. He arrived to pick us up at our hotel on time, and was incredibly warm and welcoming throughout. The advantage of going with a guide like Jason was he knew how to time the tour to avoid the crowds so you never felt rushed or overwhelmed. The other advantage of going with a guide like Jason was he was more than happy to step in and act as an unofficial photographer, which was great! Jason clearly has a great love of the region, being his hometown, a keen interest in history and a passion for his job. We couldn’t recommend him more!
