Overview

Set off on a musical journey through time as you tap your feet to the tunes that moved the nation in the 1960s and ’70s. Motor City Musical brings Motown hits from musicians like Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, and the Jackson 5 to the stage, celebrating the history of a genre that brought new life and rhythm to the American music scene. Head to the GTS Theatre and settle into your seat as the curtain comes up on the cast of the Original Motown Tribute Show in Myrtle Beach – Motor City Musical. Travel back to the swinging ’60s, a time when music broke down social barriers, changed lives, and brought Americans together over a shared love of soulful songs. Learn the story of Berry Gordy, whose Detroit recording studio put some of the last century’s biggest musical names on the global radar. NOTE: Trip Advisor Seats are in the BACK of the theatre and not able to be upgraded. For better seating order directly through the theatre.

It’s a fabulous and entertaining show. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience . It’s worth attending. The vocalists are talented and loved how they weaved the story of each song.

We loved it, it was my bday and they even sung happy bday to the November Babies! Great Job! Me and my husband enjoyed ourselves and everyone sounded great!

This show was AMAZING!! We love the cozy theater. Well worth every penny. We also loved the crowd participation. Would definitely recommend friends and family.
