The Vigilant Park is breathtaking. And touches your heart in its very core. A real wonderful celebration of mankind. The Kon Tiki and the Viking museum are very worth seeing. Affordable.

The hop on, hop off bus is a great way to see all the highlights of the city. If this is your first time in Oslo, then I highly recommend it.

Seeing Oslo in a day

This was a great way to get around and see the sights in Oslo. We used this off the cruise port. We had to walk down to the corner past the Fortress to get on a they no longer pick up from the Port. They do however drop off at the souvenir shop at the Oslo port. There are free earbuds near the drivers station. You can listen to history and information in several languages about each stop **make sure you get on the right bus. There is a similar bus in operation. This company bus is stamped "official" city sightseeing tour
