Since 1976, we have offered the best for visitors to the Nation's Capital. Our guides are experienced, professional and fun. Our Giant bicycles and helmets are new every year. Please ask for an Ebike upgrade. Many lovely sights, some unique history and always an anecdote about our community and inhabitants to raise a smile. It is special because we use only pathways. There is no traffic or roads to traverse.

Meeting points

We meet on the Rideau Canal at water level beside the Senate of Canada (2 Rideau St). Just down the steps from the Senate front door facing the Chateau Laurier Hotel.

We had so much fun doing a bike tour with Rent a Bike! Our tour guide Conrad was so great and wonderful. We had brought our three kids ages 10 and under and he re-routed to a less traffic-heavy (but still absolutely lovely) route. The route we took was on fully dedicated bike paths, very flat terrain, and was so scenic. The bikes we got were also great quality. I usually ride a mountain bike and really enjoyed trying out a road bike! So much fun!!! We’re definitely doing this again next time we’re in Ottawa!

A really interesting, enlightening and beautiful tour of the Rideau Canal and adjacent areas. Conrad has a deep knowledge of the history and impact of the canal on the city, and it was also a beautiful day!

Beautiful cycle ride on great traffic-free cycle paths. Mariette our guide was great, took us at exactly the right pace and gave excellent details along the route. Over-ran the expected time because we all chatted so much! Good to have choice of electric or standard bikes.

I had a lovely time with Art. He is a great, kind guy who is very knowledgable about the city. I was lucky enough to have the tour all to myself, so it made it even more special. I highly recommend this tour.
