Pisa food tour is a walking tour around the center of Pisa. The tourist is guided by a "Foodie", a local "buddy" able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities and he will make try the real pisano taste and flavours. Pici is a traditional Tuscan pasta made by hand-rolling thick, rustic strands of dough, resembling a thicker version of spaghetti; often served with hearty sauces, such as meat ragu or simple olive oil, garlic, and cheese. Its chewy texture and ability to absorb rich sauces make it a beloved dish in Tuscan cuisine.

Nicoletta was very knowledgeable about the local food. She took us to all the local family owned places. We had sandwiches, pasta, local delicacy and wine. We also got to see a local market place with truffles. Nicoletta was knowledgeable about the transportation in the area which was very helpful. This was our family's favorite excursion for this trip! A must do if you are in the area!

This was a fabulous tour. Sasha was a wonderful guide and we felt we were with friends by the end of the tour. She gave us a very thorough, fun and most importantly, delicious tour of Pisa.
