Great way to learn about Mauritius

We loved the tour! We not only got to try different Mauritians street food which we wouldn’t know how to find ourselves but also learned about the history of the island and the delicious food. You won’t leave hungry!! I especially liked that our guide Christopher took us to the natural history museum and to the park to show different trees and animals that used to and most of them still are on the island He was very knowledgeable and was able to tell us a lot and answer all our questions I can’t recommend this tour enough!

Rudy was an excellent guide-punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and multilingual. We had a great time walking around Port Louis tasting a variety of delicious foods and learning about the rich history and culture of the city and the country. We came away with full stomachs and a greater understanding of Mauritius.

Great insight into the history of Mauritius through food

Our guide was very knowledgeable and told us all about the history of Mauritius through the food as well as stopping at landmarks and a small natural history museum to talk about the animals of the island. It was a great way to see a lot of Port Louis that we wouldn’t have got to see otherwise. It was busy and hot and a lot of fun. The food itself was really good - some of it was a bit spicy but nothing we couldn’t handle. If you don’t have a good spice tolerance then you have been warned! Thank you to the team and to our guide (I have unfortunately forgotten his name, but I think it was Christian). Would highly recommend this tour to everyone!

Very nice and interesting walk in Port Lois. The guide told enthusiastically the Mauritian history. We tasted several kinds of food!
