Overview

The tour is hiking, swimming, and snorkeling combined. During the hike, one can witness Aruba's diverse flora and fauna. Feel the refreshing sea breeze from the East side of the Island. Additionally, you can capture unique pictures of the stunning scenery. At the Natural Pool, Conchi, you will be able to swim/snorkel. Be the first to get there before it gets crowded! At Boca Ketu you might even see a leather back turtle's nest. It's the most secluded and isolated beach. During the hike, there will be Aruban snacks offered free of charge. If you need to take breaks during the hike, just let me know!

    The hiking distance is about 5km, 2.5km to the Natural Pool, Conchi, and 2.5km back. We will also pass by by Daimari Beach, Boca Keto, and Moro. Before getting to Conchi, we will get a chance to walk through the dunes. The hike from Daimari Beach to Boca Keto is about 45 mins.

    When hiking to the Natural Pool, Conchi, we will pass by Boca Ketu. When we make our way back, we can swim for a bit if the sea is calm. The hike from Boca Keto to the Natural Pool, Conchi, will take 45 mins.

  • Conchi Natural Pool

    The Natural Pool, Conchi, is the main attraction. We are going to stay here where you will be able to swim and snorkel for 1 hour. When we finish up at Conchi, we will hike back to Boca Keto, which takes 45 mins.

  • Boca Ketu

    The second time that we pass by Boca Ketu, we can swim if the sea is calm. To finish up the hike, we will go from Boca Ketu back to Daimari Beach, which takes 45 mins.

I recently went on a hike in a national park with Howard as my guide and it was an incredible experience. Howard's knowledge and friendliness made the hike even more enjoyable. He shared interesting facts about the park and its wildlife, and his passion for the outdoors was truly inspiring. I highly recommend going on a hike with Howard – you won't be disappointed!

Howie was an excellent guide. He took time to explain and answered all of our questions. He took time to tell us the history of things we were seeing. Hiking was great as it allowed us to move at our own pace and see things we probably wouldn't have seen had we ridden in a jeep. We were able to go off the beaten path. We even ate fruit from the cactus. The natural pool is a wonderful place and Howie explained the history behind it. I highly recommend this hiking experience.

We loved this hike! This was a highlight of our trip to Aruba! Howard picked us up at our hotel and drove us to Arikok National Park where we enjoyed a beautiful and educational hike to the Conchi Natural Pool. Howard is a delightful hiking companion, enthusiastically sharing his knowledge of the history and environment and answering the countless questions we threw at him as we made our way across the park. He made a point to photograph anything interesting we saw along the way and shared a wonderful album with us at the end of the trip. When we arrived at the Conchi pool he provided us with snorkeling equipment and expertly guided us into the water where he used bread crumbs to coax in a variety of gorgeous fish for us to view and swim with. Before setting off on our hike back to the car, he shared fruit, granola bars and ice water for sustenance on the return trip. As if this was not enough, on the drive back to the hotel, he pulled in to a local bakery where he treated us to freshly made pastechis -- delicious! We ended our time with Howard feeling we have a wonderful new friend in the world. If you enjoy walking and learning about the history and culture of a place from a local, make this tour a top priority. A great value -- 100% worth it!

My 15 year old daughter and I had an amazing time in the hike! Hugo is a knowledgeable, kind, polite, conscientious guide. The views are amazing! We were able to swim at the Natural Pool before the crowds arrived. The waves were huge and untamed, yet it felt peaceful. We would both 100% recommend!
