If you are a sports fisherman and a lover of fishing is your activity, I have been a fisherman all my life, very passionate, the best views and hundreds of scenarios to fish, along with more than 1000 different types of baits, will make it a day unforgettable in the waters of the second largest artificial lake in the world that crosses the great Panama Canal.

We are in the second largest artificial lake in the world where species from the Pacific and Atlantic enter giving us more than 10 different species of fish and the best fishing scene in the Panama Canal, next to the big ships.

The fishing guide was great. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant to be with. He told my grandson where to cast and how to catch a fish. It was an enjoyable experience.

This was absolutely the highlight of our vacation to Panama. Rene (host) was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He provided us with any food/drink that we requested, and he even picked us up some local breakfast on the way. His boat is clean, smooth on the water, and has ample room so you don't feel cramped at any point. We caught a large amount of peacock bass and snook, and Rene lets you decide if you want to change spots/methods for different species or keep fishing the same fish. As somebody who has grown up fishing freshwater and saltwater, this is something I definitely recommend.

Our trip was amazing! Caught several of the following peacock bass, sea bass and Oscar and jack. We did a half day trip BUT booked full day trip for two days later.. Don’t miss this Guide. He is amazing and his equipment and knowledge is behind what we expected!!
