This tour will take you to 3 most popular spots around Shimizu. 1, Nihondaira Plateau (Green tea field and Mt. Fuji view at Nihondaira Ocha Kaikan, Nihondaira Yume Terrace Observatory, Spectacular view from Nihondaira ropeway) 2, Kunozan Toshogu Shrine a brilliant national treasure shrine. This beautiful shrine is for giving worship to Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun of the Edo period. 3, Miho Beach (Miho Pine Tree Grove) a part of Mt. Fuji World Heritage, Miho no Matsugara Culture & Creativity Center). We can accommodate a maximum of 20 travelers per tour. Regarding to the starting time, we recommend you to start earlier as possible to reduce the risk to line up for the ropeway.

This ropeway connects Nihondaira and Kunozan Toshogu Shrine in 5 minutes. We use round trip ropeway. Please enjoy beautiful view of Suruga Bay. (waiting time and riding time for round trip : about 20 minutes.)

Brilliant shrine which is registered as a national treasure. This shrine is concerned with the most famous Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu. There is mausoleum of Tokugawa Ieyasu.

Spectacular day in Shimizu

I cannot say enough for the wonderful experience that we had in Shimizu, blessed with the perfect day to view Mount Fuji. Our guide Rie San was excellent. Incredibly welcoming, patient with our large group of 13 and an excellent historian who gave us a lot of background about the shrines, temples, Mount Fuji and culture of her region. Our driver Yukio was top-notch and the tour operator. Hikano was exceptional in communication. Thank you for making this a wonderful tour for our last day of our cruise.!

Majestic Mount Fuji at its best!

We were blessed with one of the best days to see Mount Fuji with picture perfect clear views and a wonderful guide Rie San and terrific driver Yukio San. Rie was so warm, welcoming and incredibly patient with our large family. She made the day especially memorable giving us, terrific explanations about the rich history of the region, the first shogun and provided hand drawn pictorials to boot!! From the beginning, the tour operator Hirokane, was thoughtful, and expeditious in providing us clear explanations, and responses to our questions. He anticipated her needs before even needing to ask. I cannot speak more highly of this company. One of the best tours we had in Japan.

Wonderful tour from Shimizu port !

We had the best experience! Learned so much and Kyla our guide (ex school teacher) was delightful. The bus was on time and immaculately clean with great airconditioning. We covered quite a few destinations and gained much knowledge about the local area around Shimizu port. Our tour ended with a recommended seafood restaurant in the S Pulse shopping centre. The tempura prawns were outstanding. Highly recommend Kyla, Hirokane and the team

We have a wonderful time our tour guide Miyuki speak very fluent English she gave us a lots of information regarding the city history and culture of Japan. We were able to see Mt. Fuji from the observation deck. Five + stars service highly recommended

Miyuki our tour guide was excellent she speaks fluent English and show us all the history and highlights of the city. We have very nice view of Mount Fuji from the observation deck. She even took a lots of photos for our big group and posted on the company website for us to download for free that’s what I called a Five + starts service. Also our meeting point instruction was on point they were there to greet us as soon as we got off the ship.
