This tour was all we had hoped for and more. Daniel picked us up early in the morning from our hotel in Medellin from where we drove an hour or so to Cocorna. Daniel is such a friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgable guide. He told us all about Colombian culture and living on our way there and just before arrriving we stopped at an awesome waterfall viewpoint. We were welcomed at his home with an amazing breakfast and got to try delicious fruits from their garden. On our way to the national park we got to see authentic Colombian villages, wildlife (monkeys, snakes, toucans) and waterfalls. Swimming in the rio melchocho was so refreshing and relaxing, and the lunch was excellent. On our way back we drove through the beautifull mountains of Cocorna during golden hour and enjoyed some great music together. It was an unforgetable experience. Gracias Daniel!

I did the hiking tour to the “valle de las cascadas” ( waterfall valley ) with Daniel, an excellent guide. Daniel picked me up in the morning with his motorbike which was part of the fun ! He drives very safely , stops whenever you want for coffee or anything else. The hike led us through an amazing landscape , along rivers , through valleys , enjoying the view of many waterfalls,up and down, mostly in the shade , stopping for refreshing dips at “charcos” ( ponds) and rivers and finally getting us to the amazing waterfall Esmeralda . There we swam , enjoying the falls and had a great “fiambre” ( delicious picnic lunch ) which Daniel had prepared ( besides fruit) . I enjoyed this day very much! Muchísimas gracias Daniel !

Daniel was a great Tour Guide! Extremely welcoming, passionate and knowledgeable. This has been the best experience in our time visiting! The trip was filled with joy and laughter. Daniel went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed everything and he did a excellent job. We needed food accommodations and he really helped with that! We were amazed with everything. Thank you Daniel!

It was great, me and my girlfriend booked this tour guide and I felt like I had a personal driver who not only took us anywhere we wanted but made sure we were okay with everything we did, he wasn’t pushy, he wasn’t shy, he wasn’t bad at all! He gave us everything we needed even when we didn’t need it. From supplies to food to comfort, we met his family and where the business resided and it felt like I was being brought in. I loved every minute of this adventure. Anytime that I go back to Colombia I will do book with this guy again. What a wonderful experience for the short period of time. We loved him so much we even paid for his to do some activities with us. You won’t regret it.

Our tour with Daniel was one of my favourite in Colombia. It was full of surprises, pretty waterfalls, and the perfect rio claro. Recommended 100%.
