Overview

You'll be kept entertained with Dominican history, folklore, local rum drinks and more. You can take a ride on our famous cable car, the only cable car in the Caribbean to the top of Isabel Mountain, 2555/855 meters above sea level, then spend some time in the botanical garden and see the replica of Christ the Redeemer; Visit Fort San Felipe built in 1577 to protect the port from pirates; We will visit a cigar factory, an amber and larimar museum where you will also have the opportunity to buy a gift in case you wish. You will have the opportunity to see the street of the umbrellas and the famous pink street in honor of Doña Blanca, we will also visit the central park surrounded by the famous Victorian houses and the San Felipe cathedral founded in 1502.

    A beautiful path of about 7 km along the seashore where you can enjoy a beautiful view.

  • Paseo de Dona Blanca

    Its history dates back to 1898 when Isidoro Rainieri and Bianca Franceschini, natives of Italy, arrived in Puerto Plata and upon realizing that a hotel was needed to serve travelers, they decided to found the Hospedaje del Comercio, which they later changed the name to Hotel Europe.

    The province of Puerto Plata, the North of the Dominican Republic, is known mainly for its cable car, but the Bride of the Atlantic has other attractions to show local and international tourists. One of them is the Street of Umbrellas, located in a segment of Calle San Felipe street, in the center of the coastal city. The place was decorated with 178 umbrellas of different colors, which gives a colorful brother to that street, motivating an obligatory photo to remember

We went to the city for a local tour. It was great. Alexandro was on-time to pick us up and was very patient while showing us different places. We had a blast and we felt very safe while driving around and visiting different places. I would recommend them.
